We call 'risk share' a scheme that allows market access to a healthcare product through linking reimbursement to real-life efficacy of the product (performance-based), or reducing the budget impact with, for example, free initial doses or a cap in total drug cost (finance-based). These schemes may be referred to as 'patient access schemes' or 'innovative pricing solutions'.
